weed treatment

effective weed removal service

Weed management services

Weeds, like all plants, have their purposes. They’re vitally beneficial to our environment, enhancing the habitats of insects, birds, and mammals alike and enriching the soil they grow in. However, when they pop up in areas you really don’t want them and are potentially damaging to health, property or livestock, then you need to remove them in the most effective ways possible.

Common Questions

How soon can work begin?

Again, much like cost, this would depend on the specifics of the job, but we will always work closely with you to ensure we meet your expectations.

What will my project cost?

The cost of the work we undertake depends on a number of factors including type of work, size, machinery needed and time taken to complete, but we would always consult with you and agree costs to suit your budgets prior to work commencing.

Do you only work on commercial contracts?

No, we work on both commercial and domestic contracts and undertake jobs of varying sizes. If you have any questions about a project we are happy to speak to you and advise the best course of action.

What services do you provide?

We provide a range of environmental management services. These are outlined on this site under the services tab, but we would also be delighted to discuss your needs and offer our expert advice.

What machinery do you use?

We utilise a range of equipment, both manual and machinery. We’re experts in our field and have invested heavily in developing our machinery to be the most efficient, safe and sustainable equipment for the work we undertake.

What is the best time of year to undertake the work?

Due to the range of services we provide, the best time to undertake certain works can vary. Grass and vegetation management is usually undertaken during the key growing period April-October, however our road, footpath and fencing work can be undertaken throughout the year.

Is the work undertaken safely?

Absolutely. RSM Maintenance carry numerous certifications and accreditations to reassure our clients of our safe and efficient work practices and high standards. All of our team is also fully trained in the safe operation of all equipment.

How long will it take to complete the work?

This is dependent on the type and size of work being undertaken, but timescales will always be communicated to you prior to commencement of work.

Do I need to be on site while work is undertaken?

No, in fact in many cases we would recommend against it for safety reasons. We are fully insured and accredited to carry out all works safely and efficiently, and all plans for work will be signed off with you before we commence.

Can I choose what plants and materials are used on my project?

We provide a full consultancy service ahead of and during a project and always take our clients wishes into account. Where certain plants and materials are not suitable, we would advise you of such and recommend an alternative.
